Middle School Overview

The transition into middle school represents an exciting time for students that often involves many adjustments, both socially and academically. It is a time when students are solidifying their view of self, their habits, and their belief system. This is why it is important to us to provide a nurturing educational environment where students thrive. It is not only our desire to encourage students to pursue excellence in academics, but also to examine their character and their relationships with those around them. In keeping with our philosophy of Kingdom Education, we assist parents in training their child as they strive to grow in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Middle school students attend classes from 7:55 AM-3:15 PM. (7:55 AM-2:55 PM on Wednesdays).

If you have any questions or comments, please contact us at 678-818-1034 during our office hours: 7:30 AM-3:30 PM.

ACADEMICS: Our middle school curriculum has at its foundation a Biblical worldview that underlies each of the academic subjects. Students transition from focusing mainly on concrete facts to abstract, critical thinking. All students study academic subjects including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and Bible. Concepts mastered in the classroom are reinforced through in-house and off-campus field trips. Academic achievement is highlighted with opportunities to participate in regional competitions through ACSI and Junior Beta Club.

SPIRITUAL: Students participate in daily Bible classes and weekly chapel services. The Bible program takes the students on a spiritual journey in which they study an overview of the books of the Bible and Biblical worldview. They also learn major Bible doctrines and how it applies to them personally. Spiritual leadership is further encouraged through programs such as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, small group Bible study, Christian service opportunities, and chapel. Spiritual concepts are reinforced with a fall retreat to the Wilds. Through this program, we pray that our students will have developed an immovable Biblical worldview as they move into the high school years.

ENRICHMENT: Middle school students are further challenged academically through mandatory physical education, Spanish, and technology classes. Optional elective courses available to various grades include art, band, chorus, drama, and guitar. Several after school club activities consist of science club, chess club, math in action, reading club and robotics.

ATHLETICS: Middle school students have a variety of competitive athletic opportunities. Fall sports include cross country, football, softball, volleyball, and spirit cheer. In the winter, students can participate in basketball and wrestling. Spring sports include baseball and track and field.
