CHARGER BASEBALL
The ELCA Charger Baseball program has a rich history in it's short time with-in GHSA. ELCA Baseball has accumulated an overall record of 122-44 and a region record of 56-14. ELCA won a state title in 2006 and played in the State Finals in 2007 with a great two year run. The ELCA Charger Baseball team has participated in the State Playoffs all 5 years while in GHSA advancing to at least the second round each of those years. The Charger Baseball Team motto is " Persisit Without Exception ". Our goal is to glorify god in everything we do on the field through hustle, effort, good sportsmanship, hard work and consistent success.
ELCA Baseball plays many teams out of region to include the competitive High Schools around Henry County and traditionally ELCA takes a trip during Spring Break to play teams across Florida and South Georgia. In 2010 ELCA returns 5 Seniors led by catcher Patrick Long pictured below. Taylor Barron, Eric Gailes, Drew Griswell and Levi Haines have all started for the Chargers over the past two years and Coach Campbell expects leadership and good results from this great group of Seniors. A good group of Juniors round out the Chargers in 2010 with pitching being the strong point of this class which has great experience participating at the Varsity level over the past couple of years. The Chargers look forward to a great season with an exciting schedule that will produce some great competition in and out of region play.

Below is a picture of the ELCA Charger Baseball Field. Alot of hard work and dedication has gone into continually improving our facility. New additons made this year is our new digital scoreboard and a new wind screen. We are also proud of our Diamond Club this year and the additon of the outfield banners. We appreciate our sponsors and those that contribute to our program.
