Peer Tutoring Program

ELCA student peer tutoring is a way for high school and rising high school students to receive extra help from other students in math, science, English, Spanish, test prep, etc.  Student tutoring is more convenient and more comfortable for students who want help through one-on-on tutoring.  Through student peer tutoring, students help other students succeed and develop effective study habits.

Please complete this form if you would like student tutoring and details will be emailed to you.  Even if you want tutoring for one time only, please still complete this form.  The cost of student tutoring ranges from $10-$20 per session depending on subjects, course difficulty, and availability. (7th grade level and below for 45 minutes is $10.{Middle School Math and Science are $20}  Above 7th grade is $20 for 45 minutes.  Prices are subject to change in specific circumstances.)  Please feel free to ask questions in the comments/concerns section located on the bottom of the form.  You can also reach us at

If you would like to become a student peer tutor, please fill out this form and details will be emailed to you.  You can choose to be a volunteer tutor or a tutor for payment of $0-$20 per hour. If you choose to be a paid tutor, you are required to be a volunteer tutor during IF at least one quarter during the school year. As an ELCA student tutor, you must follow the set rates as stated above.  Also, student tutors are required to attend instruction sessions every couple of months. (More details will be given.)  Although we are in need of twelfth grade tutors and tutors who are willing to tutor in the mornings, other tutors are also appreciated.

Contact IF Coordinator, Denise Martin, for more information concerning tutoring.
