Dr. Hahn brings a total of 23 years of teaching and administrative work in both public and private education systems along with outstanding credentials. Dr. Hahn earned his Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Liberty University while also participating in the Liberty University football program. He completed a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Virginia and then returned to Liberty University to complete his Education Specialist and his Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership. He and his wife, Karen, have been married for 19 years and together they have four boys who will attend ELCA beginning in the fall of 2021: Bryson (17), Brodie (14), Blake (13) and Luke (9).
Head of School
Al Hosford came to ELCA in 2013. Prior to this move into ministry, he worked in the financial services industry. Al earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Georgia, and a Graduate Degree from the ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking. He and his wife Melony have two sons Trenton and Troy, who both are current students at ELCA. His family is actively involved with Eagles Landing First Baptist Church.

Mrs. George joined ELCA in 2013 as the Dean of Academics after serving in public education for 33 years as a classroom teacher, Instructional Lead Teacher, and Instructional Assistant Principal. Mrs. George spent thirteen years at Union Grove High School where she established an academic continuous improvement plan that resulted in a ranking in the top 2.6% of all public high schools in the state of Georgia. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Georgia College and a Master of Arts for Teachers degree in Biology from Georgia State University. After numerous add-on certifications from the University of West Georgia in the areas of gifted education and instructional supervision, Mrs. George received her Education Specialist degree in Educational Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University. Mrs. George is married to Jackie George and they are the proud parents of two daughters, Ivey and Lydia.

Martha Fairley has been at ELCA since 2006 moving from Raleigh, NC. Martha is the Director of Technology and also serves as the Director of Online Learning and the STEM Coordinator. Martha has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from Jackson State University, a Master of Education degree with a concentration in Curriculum & Instruction from Seattle Pacific University, and an Education Specialist degree in Instructional Technology from Valdosta State University. Martha is a Google Level 2 Educator and a SMART Technologies Certified Trainer. She has been teaching in Christian education for over 18 years. Before teaching Martha was a software development manager with IBM in North Carolina & Virginia. She has been married to her husband Ron since 1986 and they have two boys, Marcus (ELCA 2010) and Brandon (ELCA 2014).

Alan Teague has been at ELCA since 2008. Originally from North Carolina, he taught high school English and served as college guidance director at private schools in Louisville, Miami, Hilton Head and Virginia Beach. Alan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tennessee Temple University and a Masters of Science degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. Alan has over 30 years of experience in college guidance and enjoys keeping up with former students.

Mrs. Bowie joined ELCA in 2001 and serves as Registrar and Director of Financial Aid. She and her husband, Jim, married in 1978 and have two amazing children, Leila and James (ELCA ’04).

Mr. Campbell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Mercer University with concentrations in Education, Communication, and Religious Studies and a Masters of Arts degree in Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine. He has been married to his wife, Gina, since 1986 and has two sons, Doug Jr. and Connor.
High School Principal
Clayton McClure came to ELCA in 2001 to teach English, Bible, and Public Speaking. Since then, he has taught at the high school and middle school levels. In 2010, he became the Assistant Principal for the middle school and in 2017 became the Assistant Principal for the high school. Prior to coming to ELCA, he taught and coached at Mt. Zion Christian Academy for two years. He graduated from Toccoa Falls College with a Bachelor of Science degree. He has been married to his wife Heidi since 1998 and they have three boys (Ethan, Micah, and Jonah). He and his family are actively involved at Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church.
High School Assistant Principal of Student Life and Teacher Development
Mrs. Terrell comes to ELCA with a wealth of experience in classroom teaching, educational leadership, and Human Resources. After serving as a classroom teacher for almost 10 years, Kim then moved into the role of assistant principal where she served for 10 years in Henry County Schools at Austin Road Middle School and Union Grove High School (one of the highest-performing public schools in the state). While serving in the role of Assistant Principal, she also served as a part-time Disciplinary Hearing Officer for the school system. Mrs. Terrell also served in the Human Resources Division for over ten years as a Coordinator. Mrs. Terrell holds a Bachelor’s in English Education from Southeast Missouri State University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University. Mrs. Terrell and her husband, Mike, have resided in McDonough for nearly 20 years, and they have one daughter, Brianna, who attends ELCA.
High School Assistant Principal of Student Discipline
Eric Johnson came to ELCA in 2005 to teach, as well as, be the Head Wrestling coach. Little did he know that the Lord would call him to serve as principal in just his second year at ELCA. Coach Johnson was born in Hershey, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Cedarville University in Ohio in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. He received his Masters of Education in Administration from Troy State University in 2003 and his Specialist degree in 2006 from Lincoln Memorial University in Educational Administration and Supervision. Coach Johnson and his wife, Gwen, were married in December of 1991, and have two children, Trent (ELCA Class of 2016) and Victoria (ELCA Class of 2023).
Middle School Principal
Mrs. Allen began her career as an educator in 1990. Joining the staff at ELCA in 2015, she currently serves as middle school assistant principal. Originally from Morton, Illinois; Mrs. Allen graduated with honors from Illinois State University with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Education. She and her husband Walton have been married since 1992. They have 2 married sons and a daughter who attends ELCA. They are active members at Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church.
Middle School Assistant Principal
Susan Hearn has been at ELCA since 1995. She taught third grade for 12 years, and served as the Math and Reading Coordinator before serving as the Curriculum Director and Assistant Principal for elementary. Currently, she serves as Elementary Principal. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgia State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Piedmont College and her Education Specialist degree from Valdosta State University. Prior to coming to ELCA, she taught kindergarten and third grade at another Christian school and first and third grades in Clayton County Public Schools. She and her husband Scott have been married since 1982. They have two children, Jacob (2006) and Miranda (2014).
Lower School Principal
Mrs. Michelle Blackburn began her teaching career in Arkansas before coming to Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy in 2003. She earned her Bachelor of Elementary Education degree from Hendrix College and a Master of Arts degree in Elementary and Middle School Administration from the University of Central Arkansas along with hours towards an Ed. Specialist degree. For ten years, she taught in the Conway Arkansas Public School System as a third and fifth grade teacher. Mrs. Blackburn also taught fourth and fifth grades at ELCA for 18 years. For many of her teaching years, she served as a lead teacher and mentor for fellow teachers. Along with her administrative duties, Mrs. Blackburn will also be leading our GROW program. She and her husband Murrell have been married since 1993. They have five children all of whom have attended and/or graduated from ELCA: Sterling (2014), Stephen (2016), Benjamin (2019), Timothy, and Alexa.
Lower School Assistant Principal of Discipline and Spiritual Life
Dr. Stone came to ELCA in 2003 and has been in education since 1990. While at ELCA, she has taught first grade, STEM, EXCEL, and has been an instructional lead teacher. Before coming to ELCA, Dr. Stone taught in public schools in Cherokee, Gwinnett, and Henry counties as a special education teacher, first grade teacher, and reading specialist. She received her BA in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Clemson University; her MEd of Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College; and her EdD in Curriculum and Instruction from Georgia State. She is married to Daryl and they have 5 children: Josh (2010), Sarah (2013), Madeline (2015), Hannah, and Charlotte.

Vicky Rodgers has been at ELCA since 2000. Originally from Glenwood, Iowa, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Music and a Reading Endorsement from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. Vicky married David Rodgers in 1987, and they are the proud parents of Collin and Shelby, who are both graduates of ELCA.

Richard Allen came to ELCA in 2003, moving into the position of High School principal in 2007. Prior to coming to ELCA, Mr. Allen served for sixteen years at Athens Christian School in Athens, Georgia. He graduated from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He and his wife Kathy were married for thirty-six years, prior to her home going in May 2007. They have one son, Jonathan, who graduated from Berry College and is married to Sarah.

Cindy Baker came to ELCA in 2000 to serve as the Director of Finance. Originally from Powder Springs, she earned a degree in Accounting and Finance from Kennesaw State University in 1989. She is also a Certified Public Accountant. Married to Archie Baker, Mrs. Baker has three sons, Will, Luke (Class of 2010), and Jake (Class of 2013).
Director of Business and Finance
Mrs. Capp is ELCA’s Licensed Mental Health Professional. She holds a degree from Wofford College (BS Psychology) and the University of Georgia (Masters Social Work). She has been licensed in the State of Georgia for Clinical Social Work since 1994. She worked for over a decade at Atlanta Medical Center, where she assisted in the ER, Trauma and Intensive Care Units. She also spent time working with Oncology, Neonatology, Psychology, and various other specialties. In 1998, upon the birth of her first child, she limited her scope to emergency medicine and long term care units. In 2007, she transitioned to ELCA as the school counselor. Mrs. Capp is also the director of the World Impact Program, which sends our students out on overnight mission and cultural exposure trips.
Holly, and her husband Jac, have four children: Justin (Class of 2016), Isaiah (Class of 2019), Kristen (future Class of 2024), Hannah (future Class of 2030), two dogs and a cat. Her family have been active members of ELFBC since 1996.
School Counselor and World Impact Program Director
Chuck Ekstedt has been working at ELCA since 2008 as Director of Theater for the ELCA Drama Department. Over the years he has directed and produced many great shows such as Sound of Music, Oliver, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Annie, Beauty and the Beast, A Few Good Men, Steel Magnolias, The Crucible, The Lion King and many more. He is currently teaching our high school drama class, coaching our GHSA One Act Drama team, and serving as the Fine Arts Department Head. In addition to his theater work on campus, Chuck is also on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Theater Conference and serves as the Region 5A One Act Play Coordinator for the Georgia High School Association. Chuck has a Bachelors of Science in Secondary Education from Eastern Montana College in Billings, MT. Before coming to ELCA Chuck was an officer in U.S. Navy Reserve, proudly serving in multiple conflicts around the globe and even holding command. He has been married to his wife Lynn for 26 years, and they have four children; Joshua, Eli, Mary Lynn, and Hannah.

Vickie Floyd has worked in the Advancement Office at ELCA since 2004. Prior to that she worked as the Foundation Coordinator for the Henry Medical Center Foundation for six years. Other professional experience includes over fifteen years in the fields of Human Resources and Benefit/Compensation Management. She grew up in Morrow, GA and attended Clayton State University. She married her husband, Danny, in 1989 and they have one daughter, Bethany, who is a graduate of ELCA, Class of 2009.

Since 2009, Anna King has been working at ELCA exclusively in Student Support with her favorite type of student: the non-traditional learner. She teaches high school English and also serves as the Director of Student Support Services. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s in English from Clayton State University and her doctorate in writing from Georgia State University. She has published two books, as well as individual pieces in dozens of journals. Her children are Aralyn and Cade, who also attend ELCA.

Grace Lee started her journey at ELCA as an 8th grade student until she graduated her senior year, class of 2008. Receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Policy from Georgia State University, she worked in Undergraduate Admissions for six years as a student tour guide and Admissions Counselor. After teaching English in South Korea as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, she started working at ELCA in 2016. Since then, she's taught pre-school, middle school English, and now serves as our Director of Diversity. In this role, she is the coordinator of our student and staff Diversity Councils and helps build cultural diversity through events, professional development, and classroom activities. In her spare time, she loves hiking in north Georgia mountains and getting lost in time with nature photography.

Mrs. McKay joined the ELCA family in 2001 and is excited to be the director of the Charger Store. Having spent years teaching all grades of visual art, she brings her creative expertise into the retail environment. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two children RheaAnn and Conner (both ELCA alumni) and her grandson, Ethan.
Susan Moore has been at ELCA since 2002, originally in the cafeteria before moving to Admissions in 2005 and is currently serving as the Director of Admissions. She is married to Tony Moore, and they have two children, Seth, who graduated from ELCA in 2012, and Ragan, ELCA Class of 2014. Mrs. Moore’s family is actively involved at Eagle’s Landing First Baptist Church.

Scott Queen has been at ELCA since 1997 and has been teaching and coaching in Christian Education for 24 years. He serves as the Athletic Director, Head Track & Field Coach, and an Assistant Football Coach. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management from Liberty University, where he played football and ran track. Prior to coming to ELCA, he taught and coached for three years at North Florida Christian School in Tallahassee, FL and was an assistant track coach for one year at Liberty University. He has been married to Anna since 1998 and they are the proud parents of Sean and Asia.
Kim Smith first came to ELCA as a member of the Ministry Team in 1994. In 1995 she took the position of Business Manager. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom to her children from 1996 until 1999 when she returned to ELCA as a volunteer Preschool Music Teacher. She now enjoys the role of Director of Marketing and Communications after serving 14 years as librarian and Director of Libraries. She is married to her sweetheart, Bob. Her daughter, Erika, attended ELCA through her 9th grade year and her son, Ethan, is a member of the ELCA Class of 2014.

Aimee Whitlock came to ELCA in 2012 and began working in the Admissions office in 2013. Originally from Charleston, SC, she and her family lived in Chengdu, China before moving to Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Clearwater Christian College. Aimee and her husband Andy have been married since 1997 and have four children (Owen – ELCA class of 2018, Mason – ELCA class of 2021, Emma and Livie).
